“Bonnie and Clyde”, performed by Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot, was released in 1968. Gainsbourg wrote and composed the song, which is based on Bonnie Parker’s poem “The Trail’s End”. Allegedly, Bonnie Parker wrote the poem only weeks before she and Clyde Barrow were shot.
