    I’ve spent a lot of time in the Middle East and have always been fascinated with the chador. Since Muslim women at home (especially in Saudi Arabia) where the prescribed attire, I always find it interesting to notice the accessories such as (in this case) the shoes, the purse, the rings. Often their eyes are intricately made up. This image is perfect in black and white!

      Thanks for your comment, Kongo. I totally agree, the accessories are very telling and certainly a way to express personality, style, class etc. I have spent a lot of time in the Middle East as well. However, unlike you, I know how these ladies look without their chador, hijab, niqab etc. The privilege of being a woman… uhm Canary, I mean 😉
