Portrait of old lady in fur - Manhattan

This photograph was an accident. A very nice accident. I was standing on the sidewalk looking through my lens when ‘something’ moved into my view… and there she was: a lovely old lady who must have thought ‘WTF!’ or ‘stupid tourist’, given her facial expression. I apologized and let her pass.

    Serendipity! 😉 Love those moments!

And what a lovely lady! She doesn’t look angry at all… More half amused like ‘Do you really have to?’
    Great shot!

Yeah 😉 The ‘WTF’ that I put in her mouth is probably an expression that she wouldn’t use in any event. In fact, it’s an expression that I would use, or rather ‘think’, when in such a situation, reflecting 50% astonishment and 50% “really?!? do you really have to?”. And, yeah, she was not angry – way too much of a lady and probably one with a good sense of humor, too.

Yes, a very very nice accident. I love how she is looking over her dark glasses. Under her breath, “Oh, not another one getting in my way, can’t they pay attention?
